VMBC SMALL GROUPS
WHAT are they?
Small Groups are the place where we seek to do life together and encourage one another on to Christ-likeness (Discipleship).
Based on Acts 2:42: "...and they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers...." (ESV) we study the Bible, Fellowship, Eat (more usual in groups that meet at homes), and pray for each other.
What about study materials?
The Pastors at Village Meadows take the Word of God seriously. In the same way that it would be expected that we would guard the pulpit from false teaching or improper emphasis, so too do we seek to guard our small groups. That being said, we take our study materials and group leadership very seriously. Currently our groups use the following studying tools: the Gospel Project, Gospel-Centered Community, Galatians, FPU FLEX and Pastor Gale's "What's in your Tool Belt "class.
